In this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Policy), we provide you, visitors of the website https://bioversio.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the Website), with information on how UAB Bioversija (hereinafter referred to as BIOVERSIO), located at Akademijos str. 7, 08412 Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller), processes your data, which you can provide by visiting our company, website, filling out extracurricular and promotional forms on the Website or partners’ questionnaires on websites, BIOVERSIO social media accounts, by contacting us by e-mail or phone, by submitting completed questionnaires of BIOVERSIO or seconded partners during information and sales campaigns, promotions, games at events, both physically and virtually.

 

What personal data do we collect about you?

We may collect the following information:

For product salesand administration, the Data Controller processes the personal data of the data subject purchasing BIOVERSIO products through partners or directly (hereinafter referred to as the Client): the data contained in the contract; Personal data provided by the Client. These data are processed based on the contract and (or) the performance of the obligations established in the legal acts, and (or) the legitimate interest, due to the need to conclude and perform the contract and (or) to take action at your request.

  • Your personal data for sales and administration of the Products are stored for 10 (ten) years after your last provision of data to the controller and the period until the next 15th of January unless the longer term of storage of such personal data is established by laws and (or) other legal acts. 

For direct marketing, the Data Controller processes your personal data based on a legitimate interest and (or) your consent.

  • If you have not expressly expressed your consent to the sending of direct marketing messages as a Data Controller and have not objected by ticking the box “I do not agree”, the Data Controller, based on a legitimate interest, to contact you and inform you about news and other information about the Data Controller’s products and offers, information about events, etc., processes your personal data as a Client (name, surname, position, e-mail address) for direct marketing, by sending you notifications by e-mail. For direct marketing, the Data Controller processes the following data: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, place (address) of the farm, farm district, managed land area, position, and (or) information provided in the marketing questionnaires. Each time you send a direct marketing message, you will be allowed to refuse direct marketing messages by notifying you by the specified e-mail address or by other means specified in this Privacy Policy. 
  • If you do not provide your data, we will not be able to carry out direct marketing programs: promotions, and games, send prizes, and make special offers. 
  • With your consent, the Data Controller shall store your personal data for 5 (five) years after the receipt of your consent and the period until the next 15 January.

To administer the database of candidates for the place of work, the Data Controller processes the following data: name, surname, date of birth, telephone number, workplace, e-mail address, place of residence (address), education, knowledge of foreign languages, desired job, desired salary, personal qualities, work experience: last place of work, length of service at the workplace, position held, other work experience; other information contained in the curriculum vitae, recommendation and/or cover letter.

  • This data is processed based on your consent. If you do not submit your curriculum vitae and /or cover letter, we will not be able to assess your suitability for the proposed position.
  • If you do not express your separate consent to the processing of your personal data after the end of the selection of candidates, we undertake to delete and (or) destroy your personal data within 5 (five) working days after the conclusion of the contract with the selected candidate. To organize events, the Data Controller processes the following data: name, surname, telephone number, name of the farm or workplace, position, e-mail address, and personal photo.

To present the activities of BIOVERSIO, including, but not limited to, the following data is processed in the internet website bioversio.com, leaflets, booklets, visual presentations, social media networks: your photo, name, surname, workplace, position, farm location, basic farm information.

 

For website improvement and actualization of marketing campaigns (use of cookies), the Data Controller processes the IP addresses and visiting data of website visitors. This data is processed based on your consent. More information about the use of cookies can be found in the section “What cookies are used on this Website?” of this Privacy Policy.

 

Any other personal data you may provide to us at any time by communicating with us – by writing by e-mail, writing or calling by phone, or arriving at the BIOVERSIO headquarters, laboratory, or factory.

In exceptional cases, this period may be extended by a further 30 (thirty) days after you have been notified.
