ORGANIC
For soil improvement
After fertilisation, there is a surplus of nutrients. If there is no one to retain these elements, it can evaporate or leach out and part of the nutrients the farmer has invested in, will be lost! SPONGE microscopic fungi, as they grow in their own biomass, absorb and store nutrients like a sponge.
SPONGE stores macronutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and micronutrients such as magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), iron (Fe) and sulphur (S) in the soil in a biological form. Therefore, these substances do not leach out. Later, the SPONGE mycelium with all the nutrients becomes an important and long- lasting food source for plants.
Long-term studies show that SPONGE microscopic fungi retain 22% more nitrogen in both spring and autumn. SPONGE microscopic fungi are also capable of transporting nutrients in the soil. The special feature of this fungal species is that it participates in the transportation of nutrients.
